About the Role:
Are you ready to dive into a dynamic role that offers hands-on experience? We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee, Audit & Accounts as part of your University Placement Year. During your time here you will be an essential part of our team, supporting us in various accounting services including audit engagements, tax returns, and management accounts. This is your chance to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting senior colleagues in liaising with clients and gathering information.
  • Providing support on audit engagements.
  • Preparing sole trader, partnership, and Ltd company accounts.
  • Completing corporation tax returns and VAT returns.
  • Preparing management accounts.
  • Communicating with clients both verbally and in writing, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
  • Participating in teamwork activities to enhance standards for the business and clients.
  • Representing the firm internally and externally in a professional manner.

About You:

  • Working towards AAT/ACA/ACCA or IATI is desirable.
  • Comfort and liking of numbers.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
