Trade Internal Sales Executives

Trade A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the role of Trade Internal Sales Executives to work within a forward thinking Builders Merchant. You will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day sales targets are achieved as well as to be able to push, motivate and bring healthy competition within the sales team. Two roles available in Finchley and Welham Green Depots.

Purpose of the Role:

  • As a Trade Internal Sales Executive you will be responsible for serving customers and building strong relationships to generate sales.
  • Whatever customers need, whenever they need it, you will ensure they can 'get it straight from this trade depot.
  • You will be providing product advice to customers, dealing with quotes and queries, liaising with drivers regarding deliveries and actively seeking sales through customer contacts in order to maximise sales opportunities.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your responsibility will include:

  • The successful candidate will be required to deal extensively with our customers to identify their needs
  • Taking and making calls from/to businesses throughout the UK and closing the leads that have been generated via marketing campaigns and self-generated
  • Actively dealing with all sales enquiries, converting sales and offering appropriate upsells
  • Be able to meet targets and deadlines
  • Building strong customer relations with a good telephone manner
  • Researching how to generate new business opportunities
  • Listening to customer requirements to successfully make a sale
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers via telephone calls and emails.
  • Challenging any objections with a view of getting customers to buy
  • Communicating and adapting to a variety of customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Attending weekly sales meetings to inform the team of any progress
  • Meetings all KPI's
  • A team of 3-5 Trade Internal Sales Executives in each location
  • Any other duties required by management.

The Person:

  • You should have previous experience in selling construction products and excellent product knowledge and commercial awareness within this sector
  • Ideally worked in a builders merchants previously
  • We are seeking a tenacious salesperson with at least 2 years' experience within a similar role
  • Possess a proven sales and a track record of performance, as well as experience working in a professional team environment
  • You will be a good multi-tasker

  • Up to £26,000 salary negotiable depending on experience + Bonus + Benefits
  • Monday to Friday 08.30am-5.30pm and alternative Saturdays until 1.00pm
