Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a high-end residential developer in Buckinghamshire on the hire of a Town Planner.

Our client is located a very short walk from the train station with a quick and convenient commute to/from Oxford. If you are driving then this role is perfectly suited to candidates based in the home counties. This is a permanent position.

Our client is a family owned and ran business that has been operating for over 30 years and has established a reputation for constructing homes of outstanding quality and superior specification throughout London and the Home Counties!

Duties include;

-A varied role primarily tasked with discharging planning conditions and managing s106 obligations.

-Assisting in the preparation of planning applications

-Providing pre-application planning advice, local plan monitoring and site appraisals

-Working closely with the land and technical team

Requirements;

-Relevant Town Planning degree, or related degree

-Experience in a town planning role at either an LPA, Consultancy or Developer

-Local knowledge preferred

-Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of the planning system

-Excellent organisation and communication skills

-A full driving license is required

Rewards:

-Basic salary guided at £35,000 - £45,000pa (dependant on experience).

-Annual bonus.

-25 days paid leave + your birthday!

-Joining an established and welcoming team with direct exposure to the company Directors and Chairman.

-The role is largely office based with some flexible working.
