Based in Abergavenny this company specialise in the design and manufacture of products that are supplied into the automotive industry. They produce specialist parts for the largest automotive companies in the work such as Land rover, BMW and Audi.
In this role the main function of this role is to support a busy press shop on a three shift. You will also manufacture jigs and fixtures as well as tool improvements and on line fault finding.
The ideal candidate will be able to work to tight tolerances and time schedules.
Be able to use the standard machines in the tool room to a high degree of accuracy.

*Working the three shift pattern.
*Repair and replace damaged tooling using all toolroom machinery
*Manufacture checking pieces and all general machining
*Maintain production press tooling on a planned maintenance schedule, making sure tools are in the correct working order and ready to use at the time they are required.
*Making sure the correct processes are carried out when tools are running in production line, advising leads and operators alike, so smooth production is carried out
*Assist setters with setting up lines
*Assist quality with production line first offs
*Experience in press tolls and Mould tools.
*Ability to use press tool room machinery.
*Ideally hold an engineering qualification.
