Test Lead (Infrastructure, Systems Operation testing)

Test Lead to join a growing managed services client in Stoke On Trent. Strong testing background, test automation and leaderships skills to guide the team. A min of 3 years operation testing with a focus on component and systems testing, test planning, execution, automation, and defect managements. You will have hands on automation tools and frameworks. Hands on experience in test automation tools and programming / scripting languages commonly used in test automation.

You will play a pivotal role ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through effective test planning, execution, and coordination. Leading & coordinating the execution of test cases, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the quality and stability of software releases. You will identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks for streamlining and testing processes and improving efficiency.

ISTQB, CSTE qualified is a plus.

Due to the nature of the business ideally you will have current, valid UK security clearance.  Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a defence, government, defence security compliance environment.  You must be able and willing to go through UK security clearance if you haven’t already got current active clearance with a view to obtaining DV.
