Spearhead the development and execution of test strategies for complex missile systems as a Missile Test Architect for this established military systems manufacturer.

You will be well-rewarded at this well-known defence company that produces military weapons systems with bonuses, annual salary reviews, paid overtime and so forth.

As a Lead Missile Test Architect, you will be responsible for leading the test delivery team and coming up with test strategies all whilst ensuring compliance with various industry standards.

Your responsibilities:
  • Manage the test delivery team, including overseeing workload, performance, and staffing.
  • Lead the project team to define test strategy, architecture, compliance and coverage.
  • Provide technical leadership on all testing issues for various projects.

You will ideally have:
  • A degree or equivalent experience with a focus on test, electrical or electronic engineering including testing various components.
  • Experience managing engineering team and/or managing budgets and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
    • Digital electronics and microprocessor system,
    • Analogue electronics,
    • Electronics testing,
    • Test equipment design.

You will be successful in this role if you are curious, innovative and keen to progress further in a role that involves managing the process of high-end TE development from delivery into service.

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British or Dual Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
