Tenant Liaison Officer (Bristol)

Our client is recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join their team in Bristol. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure the sites are ran to the standard service levels and the organisation meets the obligations promised to tenants.

This is a full time permanent position. You will be required to work some evenings and weekends if and when required and also be on a shared 24hour on call service.

Main Duties

  • Deliver a quality service ensuring existing services meet tenant expectations
  • Ensure compliance and promotion of health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Provide clear and effective communications within the organisation’s relevant departments as well as with tenants and applicable parties
  • Recognise opportunity to promote services, and service ideas
  • Undertake health and safety checks of allocated sites (fire checks, site walk rounds, water checks, risk assessments and other relevant checks to follow procedure)
  • Refer tenants to other departments or member of the team for support/assistance when required
  • Conduct and work with the full understanding of tenancy obligations and rights and ensure tenants are also aware of them
  • Ensure the organisations promised service offerings are met
  • Ensure complaints are dealt with in accordance to the standard policy procedure
  • Provide a fully responsive service to tenants, as well as contractors for: gardens, fire checks, and emergency facilities
  • Manage bookings / payments of preparations for guest rooms and communal rooms
  • Ensure the organisation meets services promised in the tenancy agreements
  • Attend formal meetings for sites in charge of
  • Deliver annual reports
  • Carry out checks such as metre readings, tv licenses, payments and property management or utility concerns
  • Organise works to be carried out on the properties
  • Liaise with all departments as and when necessary
  • Participate in welfare checks
  • Promote and recognise income opportunities
  • Be aware of data protection at all times and ensure correct storage of personal information is adhered to at all times
  • To report and record safeguarding concerns in line with policy and standard procedure
  • Liaise with colleagues on various tenant projects/caseloads
  • Liaise with specialist providers and linked professionals relevant with services provided and required

Qualification’s Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience working within a similar position
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Organised, and able to work to deadlines
  • Full driving license and own car
  • Good level of IT skills
  • Have a kind and supportive nature
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Have a good understanding of tenancy obligations and rights
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety as well as risk assessment
  • Ability to prioritise work load
  • Passionate about customer care
