A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably motivated, experienced and skilled RMN, who wishes to be involved in caring for females with emotionally unstable personality disorder as a primary diagnosis in a low secure setting. This position will mainly cover night duties.
Cygnet Hospital Derby provides low secure and mental health rehabilitation services based on the Recovery Model. Our integrated male care pathway includes Litchurch Ward, our low secure ward, and the Wyvern Unit, our mental health rehabilitation service. Alvaston Ward, our specialist female personality disorder service, is one of the leading services of its kind in the East and West Midlands.
Applicants must have the ability to manage a busy ward environment on an on-going basis. They must be committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients, carers and purchasers of our service. They must have interpersonal skills of the highest order to liaise with numerous professionals and must also be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, whilst ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved at the ward level. It will be their responsibility to ensure the agreed care pathway is implemented involving all members of the MDT.
