Temporary Assistant Desktop Technician

Do you like solving technical problems and helping others? If so, why not join our team as an Assistant Desktop Technician?

You'll be joining our enterprise tech - desktop team who provide technical support across a broad range of areas. As an Assistant Desktop Technician, you'll be responsible for building and provisioning I.T. equipment, maintaining our asset records, and assisting with workstation setups and configuration.

You will be:

• Knowledgeable of operating systems (particularly Windows)
• Familiar with IT equipment - laptops / peripherals and how they're connected.
• Able to undertake laptop building, IT equipment provision and recovery.
• Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You'll receive full training on your daily tasks, but to thrive in this role you'll be technically minded and have a strong desire to work in a tech-based environment. There may also be opportunities to work on other projects which will help to build up your professional experience.

Contract details:

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 31/07/ 2024

Hours: 7 hour shifts covering between 8am and 5pm, 5 days a week

Location: Manchester - fully office based
