The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative / Telemarketer to contribute in generating sales. You will be responsible for processing orders, closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the Regional Sales Team through appointment setting and adhoc support requests.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, have superior people skills, and be comfortable presenting products over the phone.

Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales / customer service role.

Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota, preferably over the phone.

Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.

Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.

Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about products and promotions

  • Answer questions about products or the company

  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales

  • Proactively make appointments for prospects to meet the relevant member of the field sales team

  • Enter and update customer information in the CRM and keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner

  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation

  • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales

Located in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire our client is offering this role as a permanent position. This is a real opportunity to get in at the start of the UK’s journey with this excellent brand and thriving company.

Basic Salary: c £18,000 - 22,000 depending on experience.

A bonus based on achievement will be set to further reward performance.
