Our client is seeking a Technical Support Officer to help develop and run their online Learning Management Systems on a 6 month contract based in Ipswich, Suffolk. This role offers hybrid working and is to be for 3 days per week.

Ideally with previous experience in WordPress, Moodle, or similar software experience, the successful candidate will be working with their Web Developers in order to utilize the full potential of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical design so that the platform that be fully utilized by the users.
• Support the platform, resolving issues and liaise with the platform supplier for on-going maintenance.
• Test any new developments and communicate with relevant members of staff.
• Provide support and training to users such as: Operational Questions, Initial Procedures, and Resetting passwords.
• Any tasks or one-off projects as requested by the IT Manager.
• Attend meetings with their platform supplier and report developments to relevant members of staff.

Qualifications/experience

• Experience Developing and supporting online platforms.
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Moodle, or similar platforms.
• Systems administration.
• Any IT Qualifications would be advantageous.
