About the Company
An exciting opportunity to work with a growing software company with an international customer base.  Due to an increase in clients demand they are looking for a number of additional Technical Support Engineers.

Location: Based just outside of Newcastle, a driving licence is essential as public transport links are not direct to the site. 
Flexibility: Standard expectation is to be in the office, ad-hoc remote working is available and varied start and finish times
Salary: Starting at £26,000 with a banding up to £45,000 dependent on experience

Responsibilities
Working alongside the Head of Support and existing support team, you'll be responsible for assisting in the success and growth of the organisation in the following:
  • Provide all level support requiring root cause analysis 
  • Resolve technical issues and liaise directly with customers 
  • Diagnose and fix critical IT issues 
  • Identify software issues and liaise with internal teams via fault and feature tracking

Required skills

Essential 
  • Experience as a an IT support engineer / service desk environment 
  • Strong troubleshooting ability
  • Good communication skills- this role is client facing and you will be representing the client 
  • Knowledge of networking principles 
  • Windows and/or Linux server experience
