Our client is a successful independent Heating & Ventilation manufacturing business. Operating from two manufacturing sites they produce high efficiency domestic boilers for sale across the UK.
With existing accounts to manage and grow they have also identified a number of prospective customers to target and sell to.
Based from home your role will involve extensive travel across the region visiting customer outlets on a regular basis building relationships, promoting product and incentivising your customer to sell your goods.
Your clients will be predominately merchant/stockiest as well as private & public sector specifiers such as Housing Associations, local authorities and architects. The role will involve managing the sales cycle with contractors and back selling through both National and Independents builders & plumbers merchants. The company are keen to meet applicants with a good understanding of the construction market place and are genuinely open to people without H&V experience that are keen, with the ability to sell.
Key attributes associated with this role include being assertive, well presented, committed and able to build rapport at all levels. The ability to generate new business alongside developing existing accounts is vital.
You will be a determined, tenacious, strong minded individual with excellent communication skills. A relationship builder, who can break down barriers, can cope with potential initial rejection and doesn't accept no as an answer.
