Technical Sales Engineer

Salary: £30,000-35,000

Job Overview:

To support the production of accurately estimated bids and proposals in accordance with required timescales and company processes. Reporting to Director and working closely with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Sales and Marketing and Finance departments. The Sales Engineer has responsibility for all aspects of the design of a solution, ensuring that it is adequately documented and reviewed. The Sales Engineer creates all technical documents and customer facing deliverables related to proposals within the region.

Experiences:

• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of engineering principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers
• and internal teams
• Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in a technical or engineering field
• Ability to analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools

Employment & Educational Background

• Extensive proven experience in a Technical Sales Engineer role
• Degree educated preferably within Electronics Engineering (or demonstrated experience / professional equivalent) is preferable.
• Prior customer support experience
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential to this role
