Job Title: Technical Project Leader
Location: Burnley
Salary: Up to £45,000 D.O.E
Working Structure: 2 Days a week in the office
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To support the IT Team with the co-ordination, delivery, and implementation of IT projects. Working closely with the Head of IT, the IT Technical Project Lead will utilise their technical experience to ensure that projects run on time and within budget while meeting overarching objectives.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Develop and execute comprehensive IT project plans, encompassing business impact assessments, requirements, and key deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate seamless IT project execution, meet deadlines, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business analysis to ascertain IT project requirements and deliverables. Utilize insights to formulate project plans, timelines, and recommended strategies.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders, managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and address project risks proactively, demonstrating adept problem-solving skills.
- Implementation and Testing: Undertake hands-on implementation of technical changes for project deliverables, overseeing third-party changes and conducting necessary testing.
Technological Expertise:
- Server Infrastructure Management: Support, maintain, and upgrade server infrastructure and server room operations.
- Connectivity Solutions: Implement WiFi solutions and address broader connectivity requirements.
- Network Infrastructure: Manage network and connectivity infrastructure, including technology installations at branch locations.
- Cybersecurity: Review and enhance cybersecurity functionalities and capabilities.
- Cloud Migration: Facilitate smooth transition to cloud-based solutions.
- File Structure Management: Review and manage file access and permissions.
- Hardware and Software Management: Oversee installations, upgrades, and pilot testing of hardware and software.
- Technology Roadmap Reviews: Evaluate technologies to ensure solutions meet organizational needs.
