Join a well-respected and growing consultancy in R&D tax, video games tax and grant bid writing, as a Technical Analyst and Author / Writer. The work is interesting and varied, and you'll benefit from working with a small team.

The job offers an opportunity to work remotely or at the head office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

THE JOB:
Overall, you will undertake technical interviews with clients, identify qualifying R&D activities, and compile technical reports that describe their R&D projects.
- Client meetings are initially undertaken by video conferencing; however, occasional travel to clients across the UK may be required. You will work closely with a costing/tax team who will also attend client meetings with you.
- During the meetings, you will conduct technical interviews - questioning, listening, fact-finding, and probing.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in conducting technical subject matter research
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Highly computer literate
- Personal and present well in a professional capacity
- Excellent technical and persuasive writing skills, with strong editorial skills
- A broad interest in science and technology, especially IT/Software
- Able to manage multiple client projects and manage client expectations
- Lives a reasonable travel distance of London and Market Harborough
- Prepared to travel to client meetings anywhere in the UK

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £42,000 - £47,500, dependent on experience
- 25 days holiday + public holidays
- Pension
