Technical Architect

Your new role
As a Technical Architect in a cloud migration project, your role will be critical for planning and executing a successful migration. Here are the key responsibilities:

• Define Necessary Refactoring: Assess existing systems and identify areas that need modification or refactoring to align with the cloud environment,
• Design Data Migration Strategies: Plan how data will be moved from on-premises systems to the cloud,
• Determine Cloud Solution Requirements: Understand business needs and select appropriate cloud services and solutions,
• Cloud Architecture: Design the overall cloud architecture, considering scalability, security, and performance,
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in the chosen cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud),
• Networking and Security: Understand network configurations, security groups, firewalls, and encryption,
• Resolve Technical Issues: Address challenges during migration, such as compatibility issues or performance bottlenecks.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Technical Architect working with Azure, you'll need a diverse skill set to design and implement robust cloud solutions. Here are the essential skills:

• Proficiency in designing secure and scalable solutions within Azure,
• Deep understanding of various Azure services: Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, etc. and skills in designing solutions that leverage these services effectively,
• Communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to stakeholders,
• Problem-Solving skills to analyse complex issues and find effective solutions.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a 3-month contract offering a day rate outside IR35. The role will be hybrid working with visits in Liverpool 2 - 3 times a week.
