Product Technical Architect

We are looking for a Product Technical Architect to join our clients Enterprise & Employee Products team. This role is pivotal in designing and defining the architecture for Workplace Products that enhance employee experience through superior services such as devices, collaboration tools, and workplace automation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring their IT ecosystem is robust, scalable, and able to meet current and future business needs.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Design and maintain the architecture for Workplace Products, including systems, technical design, hardware, software, and cloud components.
  • Coordinate with enterprise architecture to align with strategy and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects on end-to-end design for cross-domain impact.
  • Define and manage architecture standards and patterns to support autonomous delivery.
  • Lead technical design for Product Development and Engineering Specialists.
  • Document and maintain current state technical architecture.
  • Contribute to security risk assessments and ensure compliance with architecture.
  • Participate in designing and implementing strategies for systems integration.
  • Identify and optimise bottlenecks in IT systems to improve performance.
  • Evaluate technology landscape and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Analyse market trends to determine impact on Workplace Product Strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience within an IT department.
  • Strong background in Workplace Product Architecture, including technical and solutions architecture.
  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL.
  • Proficiency in various modelling languages (UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, etc.).
  • Agile DevOps methods experience, such as rapid prototyping.
  • Experience in managing and delivering through third-party suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including facilitation and negotiation.
