Team Secretary

Herefordshire Mental Health and Learning Disability Service provides a high quality specialist community services to working age adults with mental health difficulties.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as a Team Secretary within the Recovery Team. You will be required to work to a high standard of accuracy, have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the Team Managers to manage daily operational tasks and processes.

The successful applicants should have a proactive and friendly attitude and be able to demonstrate substantial administrative experience and be able to meet the main duties of the role.

You will need to be flexible and mobile to move bases as these are split posts.

You must be able to work under your own initiative, possess excellent organisational skills and be experienced in dealing with confidential information.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of English and Maths, have experience of taking minutes of formal meetings and can demonstrate confidence in using MSOffice, Excel and PowerPoint as well as other IT systems.

A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory trainingand post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
