Salary: £16,500 - £18,500
Employment Status: Full Time Contract - 2021

Here at Mercia we have a phenomenal support team who are responsible for looking after our technical team. This role, supports that support team.

You'll be helping them with general admin duties such as drafting client emails, processing consultancy reports and liaising with clients over the telephone along with which you will be responsible for monitoring and processing technical queries through our database, making sure they are dealt with efficiently and by the right team of people.

Our technical team travel around a bit so you'll be booking travel and accommodation for them making sure they have itineraries and tickets etc to ensure a smooth trip.

We'll ask you to run routine reports from our database and in fact keep the database up to date and clean, notifying colleagues of any issues found so you'll need a good eye for detail and a high level of IT literacy.

As with all organisations, our customers are our priority so we need someone who takes pride in providing high quality customer service to all clients (external customers and internal colleagues), taking and passing on messages, redirecting telephone calls and basically doing what ever is necessary to ensure the customer has a good experience.

- Experience in the same or similar role
- High levels of IT literacy
- Excellent communication skills including: a high standard of written English (spelling, punctuation and grammar); the ability to proof read and edit reports; a professional and friendly telephone manner
- To have meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent team working skills - locally and across other, geographically wide-spread offices
- A proactive approach to problem solving and using own initiative when under pressure
- To be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and software packages when required
