This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start, offering full-time, long-term employment until the end of the academic year.

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Southwark, London

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Range: £80.00 - £100.00 per day (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • A valid and current DBS check on the update service.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to supporting students' learning and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to support the development of lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Assist in managing the classroom environment, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs, adapting materials and activities as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with the teaching team.
