PayScale: £95 - £105 per day

LTF Recruitment are looking to recruit a candidate who has a passion and interest for helping those who may face daily barriers to learning and need extra support to help them overcome these barriers. This is a full-time role with a view to turn permanent for the successful candidate.

About the role

Within this role you will be working with pupils who have struggled in a mainstream setting and now attend our SEN school in need of extra support. All pupils have additional needs and are supported emotionally inside and outside the classroom, to enhance their experience in education. Your role goes beyond classroom support, you will be able to offer pastoral support, helping pupils develop life skills as well as skills within their education. This is specialist school based in Solihull.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • To be patient and resilient.
  • To be reliable and consistent in your approach to supporting pupils.
  • To have previous experience working with and supporting children and/or young people.
  • To hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • To have worked in an educational environment within the last 5 years.
