Tradewind are recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic secondary Teaching Assistant in Alderley Edge.

Location: Alderley Edge

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay: £85 - £95 per day

Start Date: ASAP

About the role:

  • Provide classroom support to students
  • Assist with managing classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Offer 1:1 support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Provide pastoral care and support as required

Requirements:

  • Previous children-based work experience, ideally as a teaching assistant or in an education setting
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one)
  • CV with a full education and work history
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles
  • Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
  • Understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
