Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (NG18)
PayScale: £95 - £105 per day
Duration: Long-term to permanent
Start date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Mon - Fri
Essential criteria:
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
- Have a minimum of 1 year in-school experience.
LTF Recruitment are excited to be offering the opportunity to work in a fantastic, fully inclusive alternative provision centre. We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching assistant to work alongside their dedicated, motivated team of support staff. The successful candidate will be working closely with a range of students, supporting their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour.
- Work with colleagues to develop strategies that manage students' behaviour.
- Engage hard to reach learners with an innovative, individualised approach.
- Promote and support the progress of all students.
- Meet the additional needs of students across the provision.
About the provision:
The setting provides school places and alternative provision that enables young people who have been marginalised from education to develop skills and capabilities, so that they become independent, employable and are able to contribute positively within their communities.
The aim is to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum alongside the core skills that are needed for adulthood. Through experiences and focus on improving outcomes, the provision has developed many leading-edge systems and processes. You will be working with learners across two high-quality sites. Bespoke pathways enable the delivery of a wide range of vocational options that help to engage learners.
