Coba Education are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work at Secondary Schools in Bedford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and looking for a flexible working pattern.

The successful candidates will support teaching staff in delivering lessons and aiding students in various subjects. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment that encourages the growth of all students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom activities.
  • Provide 1-1 or small group support to students who need additional help.
  • Supervise students in and around the classroom.
  • Help maintain classroom discipline, promoting a respectful atmosphere.

Requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience working with children/young adults
  • Strong communication skills
  • Adaptable to any situation that may arise in the classroom
  • Knowledge or experience of students with SEN is desirable
