Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are looking for an excellent, hardworking, and adaptable Teaching Assistant to work in short-term/long-term roles in North Yorkshire. This opportunity will give the ideal candidate a chance to explore different settings from small schools to larger schools, aswell as SEND units.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting to individual learning styles.
  • General TA duties such as monitoring class behaviour, encouraging students to participate, and assisting the teacher.
  • Leading interventions in reading.
  • Using creative and engaging activities to support students understanding of different subjects/topics.
  • Follow Safeguarding/behavioural policies set by the school.

The pay for this role is: £80 - £95.

  • Child-based experience in a school (preferably Primary/SEND setting)
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to undergo one through Tradewind Recruitment.
  • Overseas Police Check (If required)
  • Satisfactory References.
