Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Support students with their learning, providing guidance and encouragement.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs.
  • Supervise students during class and break times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting students' learning journeys.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment.

Working with Tradewind Requires:

  • A valid DBS certificate registered on the update service, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • A comprehensive CV detailing your full career history.
  • At least two satisfactory references from previous employers or placements.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
