Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs? Aquians Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of students who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  2. Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting materials to meet the needs of students.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
  4. Support students in developing social skills and independence.
  5. Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of support.
  6. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and relevant stakeholders.


  1. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
  2. Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  6. Knowledge of various special educational needs and strategies to support them.
