Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Primary School based within the Birmingham City centre.
The school is looking for someone who can confidently display the following requirements, you will need to be able to support students that are underachieving in reaching their learning targets.

You will be required to plan and deliver literacy and numeracy interventions. You will need to work with small groups under the teacher's direction, and work on 1:1 basis supporting students that need extra guidance within their learning support. Some pupils will have SEN / MLD and will require you to encourage them to engage within their learning environment.

You will responsible for carrying out assessments and recording the data to ensure that there is learning progression for each child.
It is essential that you have previously had phonics training as some of these pupils may require these skills.
