Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Aigburth, Liverpool

Committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students, we are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons, ensuring that all activities are engaging and accessible to students.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome learning barriers and reach their full potential.
  • Support the overall development and well-being of students, promoting positive behaviour and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials, resources, and displays, contributing to an inspiring and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to meet the diverse needs of students and promote their academic and personal growth.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children, with a genuine desire to support their learning and development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
