Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a TA, you will play a crucial role in a 1 to 1 position ensuring that the student with special educational needs receives the necessary support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills and independence.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a sense of belonging and self-confidence.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
