As a Teacher of History, you will play a vital role in inspiring young minds, fostering critical thinking skills, and nurturing a deep appreciation for the past. If you are a passionate educator with a love for history and a commitment to student success, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging history lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to excel.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make history come alive and encourage active participation.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas for enhancing the history curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching history at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for history.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
