Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Modern Languages teacher to join an Ofsted outstanding grammar school in Trafford.

This a full-time long-term supply teacher role from 15th April 2024 to 24th June 2024 to cover a maternity leave.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from as soon as possible until July 2024.

The Role

Teacher of German to GCSE and French to GCSE

Five days a week

Delivery of outstanding lessons that develop key languages skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Innovative German specialist able to teach engaging lessons to students aged 11 to 16

As the successful applicant will be the sole German specialist in the languages department excellent German skills are essential.

The school are interested in hearing from early career teachers and experienced QTS teachers and further education qualified teachers with experience of teaching students aged 11 to 16.

To join us and be successful in this German Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK with no restrictions
