Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our all-girls Southport secondary schools who are looking for a Part Time Teacher of Food Technology and Textiles to start 15th April until the end of term, 23rd July 2024.

This role will pay up to £238.59 per day, depending on experience.

Our client school are looking for a teacher who possesses excellent subject knowledge in Food Technology and Textiles and can comfortably teach the practical side of both subjects.

The role:

  • Teacher of Food Technology to deliver to KS3 and KS4
  • Teacher of Textiles to deliver to KS3 and KS4
  • 15th April 2024 - 23rd July 2024
  • Part Time position, 3 days a week, Tuesday - Thursday.
  • Temporary
  • Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to teach practical lessons.

  • Sefton local authority
  • Southport secondary school
  • Over 1000+ pupils
  • 11-16 school
  • Ofsted rated 'Good' school

The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Food Technology and Textiles across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
