Tradewind's partner school are passionate about providing a broad and balanced curriculum filled with real-life learning experiences right up to the time their students leave at 16. The school has a small intake, with 2 form entry per year group, which contributes to a warm, community-like feel to the school environment. The SLT at the school provide unparalleled support to staff members, regularly holding staff well-being meetings as well as offering support with workload. With this role starting immediately, it offers an instant chance to join a thriving independent school in East London.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 English Language and Literature
  • Embrace the role of a form tutor, providing support and guidance to students.
  • Foster a love of learning among students through engaging and dynamic teaching methods.
  • Assist students with GCSE revision in the subject, ensuring their success.
  • Take on planning and marking responsibilities to track and enhance student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • 10-year employment check
  • Availability 5 Days Per Week from 22/4/24 - 19/7/24

Details:

  • Full-time position (5 days per week)
  • Temporary to permanent appointment
  • Immediate start
