Are you a passionate educator ready to inspire and empower students in English language and literature? Accelerate Teaching is seeking a dynamic Teacher of English to join our dedicated team at a vibrant Secondary School in Kirklees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that foster a love for English language and literature.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive English curriculum that aligns with national standards and school objectives.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching English language and literature at the Secondary School level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
