We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable in Sports Turf to join our team in a Futher Education Provider. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our students by providing them with practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and industry insights related to turf management.

Day to Day of the role:

• Design and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on topics such as turf maintenance, soil science, pest control, and sports turf management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance existing curricula and develop new modules that align with industry trends and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their passion for turf management and helping them achieve their academic goals.
• Establish connections with local golf courses, sports clubs, and other relevant organisations to facilitate student placements, guest lectures, and industry visits.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in turf management, sports science, or a related field.
• Practical experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or sports turf maintenance.
• Proven ability to engage students, adapt teaching methods, and create a positive learning environment.
• Familiarity with current trends, technologies, and best practices in turf management.

This role is an ongoing until the end July 2024.
