AJ Chambers are working alongside an impressive, rapidly growing chartered accountancy firm, based in Northampton.

Our client is offering the ideal candidate the chance to gain the CTA qualification, alongside 25 days annual leave and free parking on-site.

The Role:

  • Responsible for the planning, performance and completion of tax and related accounting assignments, including self-assessment tax returns for a wide variety of private clients.
  • Undertake business accounts and corporation tax computations as well as involvement in mixed tax advisory work.
  • Responsible for managing jobs on your own portfolio, as well as assisting other managers in the department.
  • Report directly to the Head of Tax Department and other directors.
  • Supervision and training of junior members of the department.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of both personal and corporate tax in a practice environment.
  • Experience using Caseware, Digita and CCH software would be useful, but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Office.
  • Experience of overseeing and guiding more junior colleagues would be beneficial.
