We have an amazing opportunity for a Tax Manager to work with a leading global giant specialising in fast moving consumer goods along side other entertainment entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within a Tax department, and will be fully versed within Tax regulations, dealing with HMRC and be able to provide comprehensive tax insights to the wider business.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, located in a stunning London office space. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and eager to get stuck in to a continually growing and exciting business.

Responsibilities: (but not limited to)

  • Oversee all tax filings ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with HMRC
  • Handle correspondence with HMRC and other tax authorities
  • Ensuring tax efficiency, alignment with the business goals
  • Prepare and Report internal shareholder tax reporting requirements.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting in financial statements and disclosures.
  • Lead and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the Tax department
  • Provide comprehensive tax insights to senior management and across the business
  • Be a trusted adviser across all company departments
  • Comprehensive and well-rounded understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.

Skills:

  • Previous experience working as part of a Tax function
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to articulate Tax reporting to both finance and non finance professionals
  • Knowledge of SAP, AlphaTax and AlphaVAT preferred but not essential
  • A genuine interest in the FMCG/Retail/Entertainment space
