This is a key hire for the business as the Recruitment Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the company forward, helping us to achieve our ambitious growth targets. The TA Manager holds responsibility for full end-to-end internal recruitment processes and talent acquisition across the organisation. The focus of the role is on sourcing and hiring people to join our team, identifying, attracting and assessing top-tier talent. They lead on identifying the best methods of assessing candidates and advise Hiring Managers on the best ways to hire for a specific role, ensuring that the best quality candidates are sourced in the most efficient, cost-effective way possible.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that will suit an experienced talent acquisition or internal recruitment professional looking to advance their skills and hold responsibility for all internal recruitment across the organisation.

Please note this role is hybrid with flexible working hours, and usually around 2 days per week in our City Centre Manchester HQ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for internal positions across the organisation, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews, managing the offer process and preparing candidates for onboarding
  • Candidate quality control, ensuring that only the most suitable candidates are submitted for review and all candidates submitted meet the given brief
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to attract top talent, leveraging various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Ensure that all live roles are advertised effectively, advertising roles both internally and externally via job sites, social media and the company careers portal
  • Work with Hirings Managers across the business to establish a clear understanding of their requirements, keeping them up-to-date on progress, timescales and any challenges faced
  • Collaborate to understand their team's needs and create tailored recruitment plans to fulfil those requirements
  • Support Hiring Managers to conduct an effective and successful interview process, assessing all candidates fairly based on their level of competency and experience
  • Continuously evaluate and refine our recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and a superior candidate experience
  • Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular insights and reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Report recruitment performance metrics to the Board, providing regular updates on progress and any current challenges
  • Management of the offer process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is received back from all candidates before their start date
  • Ensure that recruitment processes promote diversity and inclusion, including educating new Hiring Managers on the importance of creating an inclusive and diverse workforce
  • When appropriate, engage and manage the performance of external agency recruitment partners

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in internal recruitment with a track record of success in sourcing and hiring top talent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercial awareness and data-driven approach
  • Strategic mindset, able to think outside the box and implement innovative recruitment strategies
  • Passion for creating an inclusive and diverse workforce
