Role - Manage internal IT and IT team
Location - hybrid Warrington Office (minimum 1 day per week) Must be North West UK based
Salary - £55k - £65k + benefits

As a Technology business, our client is growing and requires a dedicated Systems Manager to lead a skilled hybrid team, manage daily demands, plan maintenance, and deliver business projects. This person will balance user needs with technological infrastructure and leverage emerging technologies along with security and governance. The environment includes various solutions including private hosted cloud, Microsoft Office, SaaS, and other systems.

The team you will manage supports over 200 individuals including incident management, infrastructure and ongoing projects. You will have the opportunity to invest in team development, infrastructure and technology stacks. This is a great opportunity to play a critical role in operational evolution and future success by challenging current practices and enhancing technology delivery to support long-term objectives.

Responsibilities - Systems Manager

• Ownership of internal systems; spearheading upgrades; maintaining business continuity
• Management and development of small IT Team including individual development plans
• Build relationships and rapport with senior stakeholders both technical and non-technical
• Manage relationships with third party providers
• Coordinate project-based roles and manage software asset licensing

Requirements - Systems Manager

• Previous experience in a similar role i.e. IT Manager, Systems Manager, etc.
• Experience of management and development of small IT team
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrate need to understand requirements to deliver short term needs whilst planning for long term strategies
• Experience of business projects (upgrades or migrations of new systems)
• Broad knowledge of IT Systems, Infrastructure, Data Security, Governance, Information Security, and Disaster Recovery
