From 12 UK sites, our team of over 1,400 people deliver unique capabilities across air, land, sea, space and cyber for military, security and commercial customers, worldwide. L3Harris in Tewkesbury are part of our ICI division, we work closely with UK Government and Security Agencies primarily in the areas of crypto/cyber security, electronic warfare, counter drone capabilities and situation awareness projects.

What the role will involve

If you’re invited to join our team of dedicated experts, the responsibilities of your role may include the following:

  • Contribute to the development of complex Cyber Security or Electronic Warfare Systems through requirements capture, architectural design or integration.
  • Develop design solutions liaising closely with Software, Electronic design and Mechanical design teams.
  • Supporting testing of our systems and sub-systems, through writing and running system tests in a lab environment.
  • Opportunities to participate in trials and onsite acceptance testing at customer sites.

What you’ll bring

The role requires the following experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 3 A-Levels (or equivalent qualification) with grades of A, B, C or above (including Maths and Physics)
  • Pursuing a degree in a STEM subject, ideally Engineering or Physics, but others may be considered; with a predicted final grade of 2:1 or 1st
  • A passion for engineering and technology and a desire for a rewarding career in the engineering and technology industry
