System Trainer
Are you experienced in carrying out induction training either virtually or in person? If so, read on!
We are supporting our client, one of Scotland's leading Legal Firms, to recruit a Trainer to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
Based in their AMAZING offices in Central Edinburgh, you will provide training to new staff members and provide refresher training to existing colleagues, ensuring they are maximising the tools available.
You will also help to create learning content that engages, whilst getting to grips with testing new and exciting software.
Ideally you will come from an L&D or Trainer background with an enthusiastic and forward thinking mindset, with the ability to engage and excite users.
What you’ll do

Deliver in person and virtual training to new starts

Provide training to existing colleagues as a refresher or after the launch of new software

Assist in software testing
-
Creating documentation and How To Guides
-
Produce engaging e-Learning content such as videos and blog posts
-
Work with the wider team when required to collaborate
-
Keep up to date with industry trends in both training and technology
-
Triage minor technical issues, escalating when needed
What you’ll need
-
Prior experience in a Training role, ideally within Professional Services
-
Excellent technical ability with knowledge of Learning Management Systems
-
Knowledge of Document Management Systems (Desirable)

Strong understanding of how to develop digital skills
-
Willingness to learn and develop own skills and knowledge
-
Comfortable working as part of a team but also using your own initiative
-
Excellent stakeholder management skills with a positive 'can do’ attitude
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Solid organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment

You will be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
