System Administrator - Server Administration - Infrastructure candidate sought but a market leader with offices in central Newbury.
You will work within a small team and be a Windows Systems Administrator responsible for the maintenance of the back office systems, servers, and end user computing

This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be comfortable interacting with all levels of staff from end users up to director level, all with varying degrees of technical knowledge. You should be able to clearly and concisely explain issues in a measured and non-technical fashion, have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, be self-organised, and well-motivated.

This is a position that offers a lot freedom, and responsibility and as such would allow the individual to express their personality in the work they perform

You should be well versed in maintaining an Active Directory based Windows Network, installing and maintaining windows server and client operating systems, securing, and monitoring general network activity, creating and maintaining domain, end user, and access policies, and developing an infrastructure strategy aligned with the long term business goals.

Required skills
· Active Directory, Group Policies (2003, 2008 R2, 2012 R2, Windows 7, 8.1, 10)
· Exchange 2010
· Basic networking
· Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2 , 2012 R2
· Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, WINS & RADIUS roles on Windows Server
