Syndicate Reporting Manager

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Lloyd's Syndicate Finance specialist to become part of a dynamic Finance team.

Responsible for the production and management of financial reporting for the syndicates Lloyd's entities; with a specific focus on regulatory and operational reporting requirements of Lloyd's as well as supporting change within reporting structure and procedure.

  • Responsible for the production of all regulatory returns for Lloyd's and related entities including SII and new UK GAAP
  • Responsible for production of Lloyd's related Statutory accounts and other statutory information
  • Responsible for the implementation of new accounting standards and developments within Lloyd's and the entities internal policies and procedures
  • Support the Lloyd's Platform's reporting framework, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and developments
  • Responsible for the production of monthly /quarterly consolidation reporting to Group
  • Assist in the production of board reports for all Lloyd's and related entities
  • Production of management information for submission to group team
  • Analysis and commentary of legal entity results, providing responses to queries from Group team
  • Maintenance of a strong working relationship with internal and external auditors *
  • Ensuring a smooth running of the auditing process as well as compliance with SOx control procedures including quarterly financial reconciliations.

The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant, you will have gained at least 3-5 years Syndicate Regulatory reporting experience and will have exposure to relationship management within an outsourced finance model.
