Our client is looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join a leading Sustainability and Energy consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in the UK and internationally. The role is varied working on ESG and sustainability accreditation strategies, planning applications and live construction projects.
Sustainability Consultant Requirements:
- BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- BREEAM Assessor and/or BREEAM AP qualifications
- Knowledge and application of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies
- Experience of working on ESG strategies for real estate clients
- Knowledge of Home Quality Mark and WELL/FitWel assessments
- Understanding of Part L & Dynamic Simulation Modelling
- Full UK driving license
Sustainability Consultant Duties:
- Build client relationships and liaise with multidisciplinary teams
- Lead sustainability projects by developing concepts, reports and presenting to clients
- Deliver innovative sustainable and low-carbon design solutions
- Complete project assessments including Part L, BREEAM, HQM, PassiveHaus
- Assess project designs for BREEAM compliance and recording evidence
- Undertake energy surveys of buildings
- Prepare sustainability assessments, planning reports, and presentations
