Samaritans are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident individual to join our Income and Finance Team as a Supporter Care Officer. This role is responsible for engaging with our supporters and members of the public and processing donations, queries, and complaints received from different touchpoints.

About The Role/Person

Samaritans are looking for a Supporter Care Officer to join the Supporter Services team as part of the Income and Finance Department. The Supporter Care Officer will report to the Supporter Services Manager.

The Supporter Care Officer will be responsible for:

  • Enhancing the supporter experience by delivering excellent supporter care, building supporter engagement and implementing on-going supporter feedback
  • Communicating effectively, in the right way and at the right time, using various methods of communication, including social media with all stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the capturing of data, processing of donations, handling complaints and answering of queries is completed thoroughly and accurately, maximising the supporter experience

With excellent communication skills, the Supporter Care Officer will develop effective working relationships across the Income and Finance department, working as part of a friendly team.
