We are currently looking to recruit a Support Worker to join a children's home based in Nottinghamshire. This home is a medium to long-term placement for and seeks to supply outcomes for planned admissions but emergency referrals are considered.
Salary: Up to £21,655 with additional and overtime hours available
Hours: 39 hrs per week / additional overtime hours available

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of the team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.Requirements:Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour
- The ability to work a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and Bank Holidays
- Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour
- Must have had a full driving licence for three years
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective organisational capability
- Great team player
