You will be working alongside the young people supporting them with their independence and promoting life skills.
You will be required to ensure the safety and well-being of the young people at all times.
You will be liaising with other support workers, and care managers to ensure the best for all young people in the home.
This is a temporary but ongoing role and works to a rota system of early shifts, late shifts, and waking nights, and offers a competitive rate of pay.

To apply, you need at least 6 months of experience within a care and support role involving autism and challenging behaviours.
Due to the nature of the role, we require a full 5 past year work referencing, with at least 2 care and support references within this time frame. We will also need to submit all successful applicants to a DBS check, at a cost of £44 (refunded after completion of 100 hours of work). This only applies if you are not subscribed to the DBS Update Service. You will also have to attend a mandatory 1 day training course at the REED Sheffield office.
