Support Worker, Adults Learning Disability - Supported Living and Community - Hull Area

Recruiting for Care is one of the UK's leading providers of permanent recruitment solutions to the Nursing, Health and Social Care sectors and we offer bespoke consultancy services to clients and candidates alike.

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to join an expanding team in the Hull Area. This company specialises in the support of Adults with Autism and Learning Disability with some Elderly with Learning Disability and they are looking for committed support workers to help them maintain their high standard of care.

All of the service users are in supported living service or in their own homes. Please note, this is not quite Domiciliary Care, you will be required to complete long shifts, days nights and sleep ins on a rota system over 7 days.

This is an expanding company so the scope for progression is extensive. You will be offering floating support so driving is a big help although not essential.

Ideally we would like someone with Positive Behaviour Support Training, and you must have experience with extremely challenging behaviours.

The hourly rate is £7.50 - £8.00 depending on experience and £28 per sleep in. Various hours are available however we are ideally looking for full time applicants.

Benefits include pension scheme, Bupa health Plan and 21 days holidays (plus 8 bank holidays) and you can earn an additional day’s holiday for every year of employment (capped at 5 years).

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a thriving charitable organisation and to make a real change to people’s lives.
